Managing for Results

ILEAP is committed to delivering concrete and tangible results for its beneficiaries. Towards this aim, ILEAP has recently revised its management framework, of which a core component is a performance management system. This system – Managing for Results – provides an integrated, full-cycle approach to the planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of ILEAP’s activities.

Under the Managing for Results system (or MfR), ILEAP's outcomes, outputs and activities are conceived so as to best contribute to the organisation’s Mission. Outcomes are subdivided into Immediate and Intermediate Outcomes. The MfR system thus focuses its analytical, measurement and reporting efforts largely on Outputs and Immediate Outcomes, for which efforts are underway to establish baselines and concrete targets over the 2012-2014 timeframe. The assessment of Intermediate Outcomes and Impact achievement are the subject of periodic evaluation efforts; conducted after sufficient time for these results to surface.
